Robert “Bob” Mitchell

Robert “Bob” Mitchell is the Executive Director of Green Real Estate Education. With over 12 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Bob has originated loans in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, DC and Florida. He has been an instructor for the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors and the Maryland Association of Mortgage Brokers. Bob has taught mortgage concepts in real estate offices and represented Maryland at the National Association of Mortgage Brokers meeting in Dallas, Texas in the late 1990’s. In Dallas, he was in conference discussions for ethics , fraud and continuing education. Many of the initiatives that were set forth at these meetings are in place today. Bob has always promoted individual licensing and bonding for loan officers as well as strict adherence to continuing education.

Opening his own brokerage in the mortgage boom in the mid 1990’s, he employed 25 people in 2 states. His company was responsible for $250 Million in volume. Bob now turns his efforts towards educating the mortgage industry in the new age of energy efficient mortgage products and sustainable construction financing. Bob authored Level One of the mortgage course series for Green Real Estate Education and is in the process of marketing and exposing this information to the $3 million plus who are involved in all aspects of the mortgage industry.
